Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Analyzing production workflows
- Troubleshooting process and equipment issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, quality, and operations
- Creating and updating process documentation
- Supporting new product introductions
- Implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure manufacturing standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines are met
Skills
- Strong skills in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes, including process design, optimization, and production support
- Skills in Industrial Engineering, such as workflow analysis, capacity planning, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Mechanical Engineering skills relevant to manufacturing, including understanding of materials, mechanical systems, and production equipment
- Skills in Machining, including familiarity with CNC operations, tooling, and machining process parameters
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in engineering or process improvement roles
- Proficiency with CAD tools and manufacturing-related software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is beneficial
