[Remote] Lead DevOps Engineer

The role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance deployment automation and build scalable cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable AWS cloud platform infrastructure
• Build and support enterprise Kubernetes environments
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Standardize deployment processes across engineering teams
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows
• Improve developer productivity through platform engineering and automation
• Manage GitHub repositories, artifact repositories, and deployment standards
• Partner with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices
• Implement cloud security and governance standards
• Improve platform observability, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Mentor engineers on DevOps methodologies and cloud platform engineering

Skills

• Extensive experience designing and supporting AWS cloud platforms
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes administration experience
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• GitHub administration and repository governance experience
• Experience implementing or managing artifact repositories
• Linux systems administration experience
• Automation and scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts
• Experience supporting enterprise platform engineering initiatives
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and software delivery best practices
• Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
