The Accounting Operations Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting processes including transaction entry, reconciliation, and reporting activities to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance with internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities ensuring accurate and timely financial data
- Prepare standard financial reports and maintain organized records in compliance with internal policies
- Support internal and external audit requests through accurate data compilation and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve routine accounting issues
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations within a corporate environment
- Experience with accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Proficiency in accounting systems and spreadsheet tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving transaction discrepancies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders
- Language Fluency: English (Required)
