We are seeking a talented and experienced web designer to join our team on a project-based contract. As a medium to senior-level web designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Conceptualize and create high-quality website designs that align with the client's branding and goals.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Ensure the responsive design of websites for optimal viewing across various devices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance design quality and functionality.
- Optimize web graphics for performance and loading speed.
- Perform user testing to gather feedback and make necessary design improvements.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless implementation of designs.
- Provide design support throughout the project lifecycle.
- 3+ years of professional web design experience.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects.
- Knowledge of web design best practices, including user experience and usability principles.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
