- Safely diagnose and resolve all operational and process failures with facility machinery and equipment, such as conveyance systems, Dust Control systems, Shore to Ship loaders, Scale Hoppers, Truck and Rail Discharge, Fire Suppression systems, etc
- Demonstrate a willingness to commit to continuous improvement
- Conduct detail-oriented inspections (PM’s) of facility equipment/machinery, lighting, networks, mobile machinery, etc
- Process Controls/Automation and Hazards Monitoring diagnostics and expansion
- Demonstrate the ability to be a multi-crafted technician and safely embrace new challenges
- Compile and complete paperwork relative to repairs to include, but not limited to work orders, JSA’s, and proactive observations
- Perform all work within safety guidelines established by company policy and local/state/federal agencies, such as OSHA, EPA, NEC, NFPA, etc.
- Ability to respond to emergency calls during non-scheduled hours
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- High School Graduate or GED
- Associate degree, Journeyman apprenticeship, or comparable work experience preferred in Industrial Engineering/Maintenance related field such as: Electrical, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Controls/Automation, etc.
- General- Reading, writing, math, and analytical skills
- PLC-based Industrial Controls and Automation Fundamentals
- Process Sensors/Switches (Digital and Analog)
- 3-phase Motor Circuits/Controllers/VFD’s/Control Centers
- AC and DC Circuit Fundamentals
- Power Distribution/Switchgears
- Power Transmissions
- Dry Bulk Conveyance
- Some understanding of Process Improvement (RCA, Six Sigma, etc.)
