Role Overview
As a ServiceNow Developer at Scalepex, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with our clients' business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Workflow Automation: Create and manage workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate processes.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing and support system testing and deployment activities.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow's proprietary scripting languages.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow IntegrationHub and Flow Designer.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Experience in developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
