Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize testing strategies, while driving automation and continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Perform manual testing for complex and high-priority features
Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure timely resolution - Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality delivery
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews - Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability
Mentor and guide junior QA team members
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA testing, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java or Python
- Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies
Experience working in Agile environments - Knowledge of performance and load testing tools
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman or similar)
- Exposure to security testing practices
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes)
- Experience in database testing (SQL / NoSQL)
