Job Role: Senior Draftsman

Compensation range: $1,500 - $2,500 AUD Monthly

Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9:00AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

They specialize in structural steel fabrication, CNC steel processing, plate rolling, pipework, refurbishment, grit blasting, painting, and custom fabrication solutions for large-scale industrial applications. The company is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, reliability, and solving complex fabrication challenges.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Draftsman to lead the preparation, coordination, and management of detailed fabrication and shop drawings for structural steel and industrial projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects move efficiently from engineering design through fabrication and installation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural steel detailing, advanced proficiency in industry-standard drafting software, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, workshop teams, and clients to deliver accurate and fabrication-ready documentation.
