We're on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analysis team within the Subscriber Operations function, playing a crucial role in analyzing subscriber adjustments across our streaming portfolio.
About the Role: Driving Business Outcomes through Data Analysis
The Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in supporting real-time subscriber metering for various business-critical initiatives. This involves close collaboration with upstream messaging partners to ensure the accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including cost increases, subscriber promotions, and new data being collected. The ideal candidate will be adept at determining which subscribers should receive our legally mandated warnings, thereby ensuring compliance and enhancing customer experience.
This role extends beyond data analysis, as the Senior Data Analyst will also be responsible for identifying subscribers impacted by incidents requiring timely and lawful remediations. By working closely with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering teams, the successful candidate will ensure the integrity of our subscriber adjustments and facilitate discounts for affected clients when necessary.
Key Responsibilities: A Blend of Data Analysis and Strategic Collaboration
- Oversee the intake and documentation of data requirements related to subscriber messaging initiatives, including cost increments, subscriber promotions, and new data being gathered, as well as incident remediation to ensure the right clients receive discounts when required.
- Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine accurate cohorts of subscribers for messaging and/or remediation, thereby driving business outcomes.
- Convey business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
- Foster a deep understanding of subscriber adjustments and the technical infrastructure that underlies subscriber data, enabling informed decision-making.
- Manage project planning and timetables, and oversee cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events, demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of robust communication processes and operational playbooks, promoting a cohesive and efficient work environment.

- 2+ years of work experience creating in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline, highlighting a strong foundation in data manipulation and analysis.

- Proven insight in conveying technical or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences, showcasing excellent communication skills.
