The Senior Buyer will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across their supply chain. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and innovation. Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and ensure supply continuity. Manage and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, driving continuous improvement and performance. Conduct regular market analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities within the supply base. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure procurement meets project timelines. Monitor supplier performance against contracts and established KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed. Develop and present detailed cost analysis and savings reports to senior management. Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in procurement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management. Proven track record of successfully implementing sourcing strategies and achieving significant cost savings. Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and procurement software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fully remote setting. Experience in the renewable energy, manufacturing, or technology sectors is highly preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the **United States**.
