Hartmann Young is partnered with an innovative Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) company developing next-generation implantable neurotechnology to transform the treatment of neurological disorders. As the business enters a pivotal stage of growth, they are seeking a Vice President of Operations to scale manufacturing, supply chain, and operational strategy in preparation for commercial expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company's operational strategy across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and programme management
- Build scalable operations to support clinical development and commercial growth
- Partner with Engineering, R&D, Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory teams to drive product delivery
- Develop supplier and contract manufacturing partnerships
- Drive operational excellence through KPIs, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team
Skills
- 10+ years of operations leadership within medical devices or neurotechnology
- Experience with implantable devices, Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), neuromodulation, or other Class II/III medical devices
- Proven success scaling operations in a high-growth MedTech environment
- Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial scale-up
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, clinical, quality, and regulatory teams
- Knowledge of FDA-regulated manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
