The Technician Production Operations is responsible for accurately weighing and measuring chemicals, following safety procedures, and maintaining precise documentation to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Work in an environmentally controlled area
- Blood Manufacturing to produce Reagents, Controls, and Calibrators for the Diagnostics product line. Cleanroom environment, glassware handling
- Perform documentation such as batch record closeout, review, and authorization to commence
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance, stand 6 to 7 hours a day, and move materials in and out of a 2 to 8 degrees refrigerator 2 to 3 times a day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very strong ability to utilize analytical thinking and to multitask effectively
- Detail-oriented
- Prior experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or production setting
- Experience using various types of weighing scales or balances
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP, GLP, FDA)
