They are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support their Finance team remotely on a contract basis, focusing on accounts payable and month-end close activities.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day accounts payable function
- Support month-end close activities
- Provide backup support for billing and accounts receivable operations
Skills
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Some experience supporting accounts receivable and billing functions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with accounting software and financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly when working with vendors
- Experience performing account reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with Ramp, Campfire, or similar AP platforms is a plus
- Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus
