They are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the implementation of accounting software, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable & accounts receivable process from data entry to retailer/vendor communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights for decision-making
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support the implementation, maintenance and administration of accounting software and systems
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Skills
- 2-3 years of accounting experience with knowledge and application of GAAP
- Detail oriented go-getter who enjoys collaborating cross functionally
- Excel & Googlesheets whiz (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) to automate and streamline accounting processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Netsuite, Ramp, Bill.com, Google suite
