Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. UNC Finance and Operations is seeking a Sr. HR Business Analyst to support their HR Information Management Department. The role involves providing analysis, design, and functional support for the PeopleSoft HCM system and related applications, ensuring effective communication with campus users and technical staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide analysis and specification of departmental information processing requirements
- Design, configuration, unit testing, customer acceptance testing and support for enterprise HR applications
- Development of small to medium scale departmental databases
- A variety of compliance and management information-related reporting and analysis
- Provide support for the Human Resources / Benefits / Payroll portion of UNC Chapel Hill's PeopleSoft HCM system
- Business analysis and development for PeopleSoft and related HR/Benefits/Payroll 3rd party systems
- Provide functional support for the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to post go-live support and report development
- Routine and ongoing contact with a wide variety of campus users and ITS technical staff
Skills
- Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) systems
- Ability to provide functional support for the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to post go-live support
- Experience in business analysis and development for HR/Benefits/Payroll systems
- Strong communication skills to interact with campus users and ITS technical staff
- Experience in reporting and data analytics
- Ability to apply bundles and patches, retrofit customizations, and support interfaces to 3rd party systems
