Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sports Reference, LLC is searching for two Software Engineers to design, build, and test software for their 8 websites. The role involves contributing to projects that require full-stack development, CI/CD workflows, and data ingestion pipelines, while also assisting in resolving production issues.
Responsibilities
- Assist our skilled support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues
- Build, test, and deploy features for modern web applications by contributing to projects that involve full-stack development, CI/CD workflows, and data ingestion pipelines. This work will be guided by more senior Software Engineers
- Write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and performance
- Help review large projects within Engineering by reviewing technical options, working collaboratively within the Engineering team to find the best solution for Sports Reference
- Help review and implement processes around security and compliance
- Complete projects related to company objectives as time and skills allow
- Continue your ongoing professional development, which we will support
