Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Leidos is a defense sector company seeking a Software Engineer to join their C-sUAS Engineering and Integration mission. The role involves developing and maintaining software solutions while ensuring compliance with cyber standards and collaborating with government clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for a robust C-sUAS software suite
- Design software to support system integration efforts
- Ensure any new code meets contractual cyber standards
- Collaborate with government customers to better understand program needs
- Communicating issues with leadership
- Identify areas of improvement that can benefit the software process
Skills
- Must possess and maintain active DoD Secret clearance or above to be considered for role. (US Citizenship required)
- Experience Working with multiple programming languages such as (C#, C++, Python, Java)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and a strong problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with Gitlab
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux based containerization
- Previous experience working with C-sUAS sensors and effectors
- Experience working on projects with a multitude of repositories
- Experience implementing agile methodologies
- Experience with cyber tools such as Fortify, Sonarqubue, Trivy, Dependency Tracker
- Experience with Go or JavaScript
- Experience using NATS messaging framework
