Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom software tools that improve workflow efficiency for engineering and project management teams
- Build and enhance web applications that support real-time collaboration and project tracking
- Work with APIs and third-party software to integrate construction technology platforms seamlessly
- Develop AI-driven automation tools to enhance data processing and decision-making
- Implement DevOps practices for smooth software deployment and maintenance
- Automate repetitive tasks such as report generation, document management, and project analysis
- Develop tools to analyze and visualize construction and project data for better decision-making
- Work with cloud-based solutions to ensure scalability, security, and accessibility of critical systems
- Optimize database management to streamline information flow across projects
- Ensure secure software architectures that protect sensitive project and client data
- Stay up to date with industry standards and compliance in construction technology
- Implement cybersecurity best practices to safeguard internal systems and remote work environments
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript (React, Node.js), or C# for software development
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Hands-on experience with APIs, automation tools, and database management (SQL, NoSQL)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology
- Passion for technology and a drive to push boundaries in civil engineering software
