[Remote] Senior SAP Cloud ALM, BTP Integration & ABAP Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Method360 Talent Acquisition is looking for a Senior SAP Cloud ALM, BTP Integration & ABAP Engineer. The role involves taking ownership of SAP BTP integrations, ABAP customizations, and SAP Cloud ALM administration across the SAP ERP landscape, while also engaging cross-functionally with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BTP Cloud Foundry integration development — architect, enhance, and maintain integration flows connecting SAP to CRM (Salesforce), eCommerce (Shopify), marketplace (Amazon FBA/FBM), EDI, 3P logistics warehouses, bank lockbox files, and other partners. Own the BTP roadmap and reduce reliance on external consultants
• ABAP development & customization — design, develop, test, and deploy advanced ABAP/OO ABAP programs, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, IDocs, RFCs, and reports; extend existing customizations as supply chain and sales requirements evolve
• SAP Cloud ALM administration & configuration — own end-to-end administration across Operations (Integration & Exception Monitoring, Health Monitoring) and Implementation (Test Management, Project & Task Management); configure monitoring scope, thresholds, alerting rules, and roles/access as platform owner
• BTP & Cloud ALM monitoring and error management — establish monitoring frameworks for all BTP integration flows; triage and resolve integration failures; implement proactive error-reduction validations and escalation procedures
• SAP ERP integration governance — oversee legacy ERP integrations and customizations supporting supply chain, distribution, and sales; ensure stability for all business-critical processes
• Technical leadership — mentor junior engineers and direct external consultants on ABAP best practices, BTP standards, and Cloud ALM operating procedures
• Cross-functional partnership — translate business requirements into scalable engineering solutions and enforce version-control discipline via Git across DEV/QA/PROD landscapes

Skills

• 6–8+ years of SAP development experience
• 3+ years (4+ preferred) on SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration / iFlow development
• Hands-on administration and configuration across Operations (Integration & Exception Monitoring, Health Monitoring, scope/alert config) and Implementation (Test Management, Project & Task Management). Platform ownership, not dashboard usage alone
• OO ABAP, Reports, Enhancements, BADIs, IDocs, and RFCs expertise
• API Management, Event Mesh, and SAP HANA integration suite ecosystem
• Strong SQL / PL-pgSQL and Linux/Unix shell scripting
• GIT / source-code management discipline; Eclipse and HANA DB Studio
• Operates independently, translates business objectives into engineering designs, and documents cleanly
• Demonstrated SAP Cloud ALM administration experience (Operations and Implementation) is required; no formal SAP Cloud ALM certification currently exists in the market
• EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and platforms such as Orderful
• Middleware / EAI / ETL platforms; PostgreSQL database administration
• Agile delivery; GitHub or Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
• Java, Python, Node.js; XML/JSON/Web Services (REST, SOAP); Salesforce SOQL and Apex; SAP Fiori / UI5
• ERP + Salesforce CRM integration patterns
