Bee Talent Solutions is a company focused on enhancing talent management solutions, and they are seeking a Senior People Operations Compensation Analyst. This role is responsible for the operational execution and continuous improvement of compensation processes, serving as a technical expert in Workday Compensation and collaborating with various departments to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational execution of compensation cycles, including data preparation, validation, audits, and issue resolution
- Conduct complex audits across compensation, payroll inputs, employee records, time tracking, and leave data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Partner with Payroll to ensure employee data, compensation changes, and time-related transactions are accurate and complete prior to payroll processing
- Support compensation operations activities, including job profile creation, compensation grade administration, compensation plan audits, and Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code assignment and maintenance
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency through system enhancements, workflow optimization, and process improvements
- Leverage Workday functionality, AI-enabled tools, and automation capabilities to improve scalability, data accuracy, and the employee experience
- Create and maintain operational controls, audit procedures, and documentation to support data integrity, compliance, and process consistency
- Coordinate activities across teams during compensation cycles, audits, and system changes to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Serve as the primary operational subject matter expert for Workday Compensation, Time Tracking, and Time Off processes
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies by performing root cause analysis
- Define and document requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements in partnership with People Technology
Skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience, with 4+ years of experience in Compensation Operations, HR Operations, Payroll Operations, HRIS, or People Operations
- Demonstrated experience supporting annual and mid-year compensation cycles within Workday
- Experience performing complex data audits, validation activities, and reconciliation across HR, compensation, payroll, and workforce systems
- Experience identifying and resolving data integrity issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration
- Proven ability to independently manage operational processes with minimal direction
- Strong understanding of downstream impacts of compensation, time tracking, and employee data changes
- Ownership – Takes accountability for operational outcomes, ensures data accuracy, and drives issues through to resolution
- Advanced Workday experience supporting Compensation, Time Tracking, and Time Off processes
- Strong understanding of employee data structures, compensation plans, job profiles, compensation grades, and organizational hierarchies
- Experience documenting business requirements and partnering with technical teams to implement system enhancements
- Experience using AI enabled tools, or building basic AI workflows in systems like n8n
