Tilt is a company that focuses on changing how people access financial products through mobile-first products and machine learning-powered credit models. They are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to own the iOS experience for their line of credit products, driving growth and optimizing user experiences while collaborating with various teams to ensure product success.
Responsibilities
- Own the iOS experience across our credit products - optimizing onboarding, application conversion rates, improving repeat usage , and continuously raising the bar on how users move from application to active product use
- Test different product constructs and UX approaches that move us toward a single, seamless lending experience. You'll work from hypothesis to launch, validating what actually works before we scale it
- You'll be trusted to an outcome - say, 40% conversion - and expected to improve it through your own problem-solving. That means working with design and product to identify the right levers, not waiting for a spec that tells you exactly what to build
- Errors in credit products don't just create bugs - they trigger compliance requirements: corrective notices, potential fee refunds, regulatory exposure. Your attention to detail is as much a product requirement as your engineering skill
- Work alongside a staff iOS engineer charting a path to onboarding into and owning iOS for one or both of these products within 6-12 months - this is a real and near-term expansion of scope
- Partner with PMs, designers, data science, and backend engineers to build credit experiences that hold up at every layer - technically, experientially, and regulatory
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an iOS engineer building consumer-facing mobile products
- Consumer product background is non-negotiable
- Product experimentation and analytics experience
- Outcome-oriented, not ticket-oriented
- Attention to detail that extends beyond code quality
- Android experience or cross-platform interest is a plus
