Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery for product squads building modern web applications
- Design clean architectures, champion code quality, and guide implementation across the stack
- Collaborate with product, design, and delivery partners to prioritise work and remove blockers
- Coach engineers through pairing, feedback, and continuous improvement rituals
Skills
- 7+ years of experience shipping web applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Proficiency in building and consuming APIs, working with relational and document databases
- Track record of leading engineering initiatives and partnering closely with product stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate remotely with optional onsite time in New York/Remote
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevSecOps practices
- Comfort with observability tooling and data-driven performance optimisation
- Mentoring engineers or leading guilds/communities of practice
