Dice is partnering with an innovative SaaS company that's building modern, data-driven products used by enterprise customers across multiple industries. They are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to develop high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable React and TypeScript applications
- Own features end-to-end from discovery and implementation through deployment and iteration
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and ensure reliable data flow
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Partner with Product and Design teams to prototype and enhance user experiences
- Help improve shared component libraries and design systems
- Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality
Skills
- 3+ years of professional Front End Engineering experience
- 3+ years of production experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals
- Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, or similar)
- Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar)
- Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Experience writing automated tests (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Interest in leveraging AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3, Recharts, Vega, etc.)
- Experience contributing to component libraries or design systems
- Open source contributions or a public GitHub portfolio
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
