About the Role Our client, a dynamic and expanding e-commerce retailer, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Remote Senior E-commerce Analyst to join their data-driven team. This fully remote position is crucial for dissecting and interpreting complex e-commerce data to inform strategic decision-making, optimize online performance, and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for analyzing website traffic, conversion rates, customer behavior, sales trends, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce website performance, including traffic sources, user behavior, conversion funnels, and bounce rates. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, marketing, and customer engagement. Analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email) and provide actionable insights for optimization. Identify trends and patterns in customer purchasing behavior, segmenting customers for targeted marketing efforts. Perform A/B testing and other experimental analyses to optimize website elements, promotions, and user journeys. Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to translate data insights into strategic recommendations and implement changes. Monitor competitor e-commerce activities and market trends to identify potential opportunities and threats. Develop predictive models for sales forecasting and customer lifetime value. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analysis efforts. Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in e-commerce analytics, digital marketing analytics, or business intelligence. Advanced proficiency in web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar. Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or R. Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations. Excellent understanding of e-commerce metrics, KPIs, and conversion optimization techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively. Ability to work independently and manage projects proactively in a remote setting.
