They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will build efficient and scalable data pipelines, optimize workflows, and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Snowflake and Looker to build, analyze, and optimize scalable data models and reporting solutions
- Perform advanced data analysis using Python and SQL to inform business decisions and improve data processes
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, helping elevate overall data capabilities and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and analytics teams
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization
- Drive automation, efficiency, and reliability in data processes
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the growth of our data engineering best practices
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
- Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Looker, Python, and SQL
- Proven ability to design, optimize, and maintain data workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in distributed teams
- Self-starter mindset—comfortable working with minimal supervision
