[Remote] Senior Agentic AI Engineer (Agentic AI Developer)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pacer Group is seeking three highly skilled Senior Agentic AI Engineers to join a high-impact team focused on building and shipping production-grade agentic AI features. The ideal candidate will work within an established reference architecture to develop agents, tools, prompts, and evaluations, transitioning agentic concepts into robust, scalable, and reliable production systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex single-agent and multi-agent systems (planner, executor, critic, router) using frameworks such as LangGraph or Claude Agent SDK
• Build and maintain robust tools and MCP integrations, ensuring clean schemas, idempotent operations, and advanced error handling
• Develop and refine end-to-end RAG pipelines, including sophisticated chunking strategies and hybrid retrieval mechanisms using technologies like Bedrock Titan
• Write and maintain evaluation harnesses (golden sets and regression suites) to measure accuracy, hallucination rates, and overall response quality
• Develop secure, scalable FastAPI/Python services that expose agent capabilities while implementing necessary guardrails and rate-limiting protocols

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Async, Pydantic) or Node/TypeScript equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Agent frameworks (Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI)
• Proven expertise in building and deploying Generative AI/LLM-based applications
• Solid experience in RAG pipeline development (ingestion, chunking, embedding, hybrid retrieval)
• Strong background in API development, microservices, and cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred)
• Experience implementing guardrails (input/output validation, prompt-injection defense)
• Familiarity with building evaluation harnesses (LLM-as-a-judge, regression testing)
• Knowledge of database integration (Postgres/pgvector, S3)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerization
• Ability to optimize for latency, cost, and system scalability
