In this role, you will drive innovation in actuarial and analytics functions by developing advanced models that support pricing strategy and improve decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to enhance pricing and insurance analytics
- Lead advanced actuarial and data science projects from concept through to delivery
- Support the development of innovative pricing models and risk assessment tools
- Contribute to catastrophe (CAT) modelling initiatives
- Analyse large datasets to generate actionable business insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve analytical capabilities and business performance
- Mentor colleagues and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- ACAS or FCAS qualification
- 5+ years of actuarial experience within the insurance industry
- Proven experience applying data science techniques to actuarial challenges
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with predictive modelling and machine learning
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
