Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Senior Simcorp Engineer with full stack development and technology architecture expertise. The role involves optimizing, integrating, and modernizing the investment technology landscape, while performing advanced systems analysis and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform highly advanced (senior level) computer systems analysis work
- Direct the planning, budgeting, and analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems
- Analyze system functionality to identify and resolve problems
- Review business requirements to ensure software conforms to requirement specifications and standards
- Prepare and conduct system testing to validate system is working as desired
- Evaluate software release notes and other data to determine, plan and coordinate software upgrades
- Coordinate activities across business units and technical resources
- Serve as a liaison between CLIENT and external organizations in support of applications/systems
- Work under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
Skills
- Five+ years of experience with Simcorp Dimension implementation, integration and support at an investment management firm
- Ten + years of experience with project management, change management, strategic technology planning
- Ten+ years of experience working as a systems analyst in technology with investments, risk, compliance, middle office, operations, accounting at a buy side institutional firm
- Ten + years of experience in enterprise architecture, system integration and cloud technologies
- Ten+ years of experience as a systems analyst in the software development or finance industries with extensive experience composing business/software requirements, business process modelling, scrum/agile methodologies, test plans, writing test scripts, executing tests, or testing configurations
- Ten+ years of experience in design, development and automation of custom software solutions
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and Microsoft technologies, specifically leveraging .NET and SQL server for database development
- Experience using Agile methodologies
- Experience working with Jira or Target Process software development management software
- Experience working with Target Foundation Server or other source control management tools
