Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Simeio is a global managed services provider offering Identity and Access Management solutions delivered as a service. They are seeking a motivated QA Engineer to support testing efforts for their IBM Verify platform, focusing on manual testing and gradually transitioning into test automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for IAM workflows powered by IBM Verify
- Validate authentication, authorization, MFA, and identity federation scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and API layers
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and identify test coverage gaps
- Document test results, defects, and provide clear reproduction steps
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to QA planning activities
- Support testing of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), role-based access controls (RBAC), and identity provider integrations
- Assist in building and maintaining test data and test environments
- Gradually contribute to automation efforts (API/UI test automation) as skills develop
Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies
- Understanding of web applications, APIs, and system integrations
- Basic knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts such as SSO, MFA, OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Exposure to IBM Verify, Auth0, Okta, or similar IAM platforms
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- Introductory knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or RestAssured
- Experience in regulated environments like finance, healthcare, or government
