They are seeking an Operations Lead to oversee program operations for federal transition assistance services, ensuring effective management of dispersed teams and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day execution, coordination, and management of program operations supporting large-scale federal transition assistance services for military Service members and Veterans
- Provides operational leadership for geographically dispersed teams across multiple installations worldwide
- Ensuring consistent service delivery, staffing coverage, scheduling coordination, and operational readiness
- Serves as a key liaison between Government leadership, regional management teams, and onsite personnel
- Ensuring all operational requirements, reporting obligations, and customer support activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with contractual and program standards
- Managing workforce operations
- Monitoring performance metrics
- Supporting staffing and deployment activities
- Tracking operational risks
- Ensuring continuity of services across all assigned locations
- Overseeing operational reporting
- Facilitating communication between stakeholders
- Supporting training and onboarding initiatives
- Assisting with implementing quality assurance and process improvement efforts
- Ensuring operational alignment with program management plans
- Supporting issue resolution
- Maintaining awareness of evolving program requirements to minimize disruptions and maintain high levels of customer service and mission effectiveness
Skills
- 6 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Proven experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a dispersed workforce
- Ability to issue directives and schedules necessary to ensure effective project management
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
- Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government
- Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S
- Experience overseeing geographically dispersed personnel
- Coordinating schedules and resources
- Supporting government program execution
