Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Judge Group is seeking a Product Designer to join their Financial Services client. This role focuses on shaping personal investor experiences through strategic thinking and user experience design, ultimately helping customers navigate financial offerings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and design of customer experiences focused on high-yield savings and cash management solutions
- Design and optimize cross-product experiences that enable seamless movement between related financial products and services
- Map customer journeys, identify pain points, and develop user-centered solutions that simplify complex financial decisions
- Translate business objectives and customer needs into intuitive, scalable product experiences
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Strategists, Researchers, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Collaborate across multiple product areas, including retirement and cash management experiences
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment by communicating design concepts, recommendations, and rationale effectively
- Help define product requirements and ensure customer needs remain central to decision-making
- Create journey maps, service blueprints, workflows, and experience frameworks to support strategic planning and execution
- Contribute to and leverage established design systems to maintain consistency and scalability across products
- Evaluate tradeoffs, solve ambiguous challenges, and drive clarity through structured design thinking
- Deliver high-quality design artifacts that support both strategic initiatives and product development efforts
Skills
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic product design and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Business Strategy stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and influence decisions
- Proven ability to define requirements, articulate design rationale, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Experience working in evolving environments with incomplete requirements and shifting priorities
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution
- Experience designing complex digital products or services
- Knowledge of design systems and scalable UX practices
- Figma expertise
- Financial services experience is a plus, but not required
