Service Corporation International is a leading provider in the funeral services industry, and they are seeking a Marketing Representative to drive top-of-funnel activity by identifying and qualifying potential customers. This role involves conducting outreach to leads, setting appointments, and collaborating with sales teams to optimize strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, and texts when appropriate) to company-provided leads
- Quality leads based on pre-defined criteria for re-engagement or market-based sales appointments
- Set and confirm appointments with Re-Engagement and Market-Based Advisors
- Leverage CRM, outreach programs, and technology to manage lead status, appointment activity, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with their Sales Managers and regional leadership to optimize messaging and campaign strategy
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets for outreach and appointments set
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM
- Seek out a manager’s coaching to improve sales cycle, techniques, proficiency, and product knowledge
- Complete a comprehensive onboarding program that requires successfully completing coursework, passing assessments, and demonstrating the appropriate skills to begin fulfilling the following responsibilities:
- Complete annual certification on critical skills as deemed necessary for success

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- High-energy, outbound-focused

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including the MS Office suite
- Professional attire is required when meeting with clients or representing the company
- Professional, coachable, and goal-oriented
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions

- Reliable internet access
- Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
- Working beyond 'standard' hours as the need arises
- Insurance license preferred, but not required
- Sales or Customer experience preferred
- Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales systems preferred
- 1+ year in sales, customer service, call center, or outbound appointment setting preferred
- Proficient computer skills with CRM and Social Networking Apps preferred
- Bilingual, knowledge of another language preferred
