GoHealth Urgent Care is a healthcare organization seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable to lead and develop a team responsible for Accounts Receivable and billing operations. The role focuses on ensuring timely reimbursement, driving operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily communication and direction to direct reports and team leaders, including updates related to payors, center additions, new market initiatives, and work assignments
- Maintain a high level of customer service when working with Accounts Receivable Specialists, payors, and centers
- With support from the Senior Manager, Market Revenue Cycle, participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews of team members
- Implement and maintain audits to ensure team efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness in managing outstanding Account Receivable accounts
- Monitor, analyze, and report key performance metrics, including but not limited to days outstanding, accounts receivable over 90 days, and collections performance
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities for staff to support continuous improvement
- Establish, implement, and maintain Accounts Receivable departmental policies in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Market Revenue Cycle
- Track, document, and analyze department productivity, making process improvements as needed to meet or exceed departmental goals
- Motivate, engage, and support team members to drive accountability, performance, and professional growth
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
- 3+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- Experience with Hospital EMR systems (Epic and/or eClinicalWorks preferred)
