Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sayva Solutions is partnering with a high-growth professional services firm to hire an Accounting Manager for their advisory accounting team. This role will own complex client engagements end-to-end, lead month-end close and reconciliations, support process and systems improvements, and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and review month-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple client engagements
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Manage complex reconciliations, including bank/credit card activity and crypto subledger tie-outs (as applicable)
- Own and drive multi-year cleanup projects (historical accounting catch-up, reconciliations, and documentation)
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver financial insights, reporting, and advisory support (outsourced accounting/CFO advisory)
- Support tax-related accounting workstreams (e.g., reconciliation support, coordination with tax teams, audit support)
- Contribute to system implementations and process improvements; help optimize workflows and controls
- Mentor, train, and quality-check work produced by Seniors/Staff; provide coaching and review feedback
- Manage client relationships, priorities, and deliverables across a portfolio of engagements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field such as Finance/Business/Economics)
- Manager-level experience in accounting, advisory, or outsourced accounting
- Strong full-cycle accounting experience (month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements)
- 2+ years of Crypto/digital asset accounting exposure required
- Experience supporting or leading accounting system implementations and process improvements
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and comfort working across multiple accounting systems
- Ability to manage multiple clients/engagements concurrently, communicate clearly, and operate with a high degree of ownership in a remote setting
- Public accounting and/or client-service background strongly preferred
