They are seeking an experienced Locum Tenens Physician Recruiter to source, recruit, and place physicians nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified physicians for locum tenens assignments
- Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective candidates
- Screen candidates for skills, experience, and fit
- Partner with facilities to understand and meet staffing needs
- Present candidates and manage the placement process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers and clients
- Keep current with market trends in locum tenens recruiting
Skills
- 2 years of full-cycle locum tenens physician recruiting experience within a staffing agency
- Understanding of licensing, credentialing, privileging, and assignment logistics (we have travel, licensing, and credentialing teams in-house)
- Proven production history with consistent monthly placements and revenue generation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong time management
- Experience working with both direct facility relationships and VMS/MSP accounts
- Candidate rate negotiation
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a high-volume desk independently
