Morae is seeking an experienced Legal Technology Developer with strong Relativity Administration and Legal IT experience to join their team. This hands-on role combines software development, Relativity administration, and day-to-day legal technology support, requiring a solid understanding of legal workflows and eDiscovery processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications, integrations, and workflows supporting legal operations
- Administer and support the Relativity platform, including workspace configuration, user management, permissions, security, and system maintenance
- Provide day-to-day administration of legal technology platforms and related applications
- Support eDiscovery projects, document review workflows, and litigation support processes
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize legal technology systems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and access requests
- Perform system monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with legal professionals, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver technical solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations
- Provide technical support and training to end users where required
- Ensure compliance with legal, security, and data governance requirements
Skills
- Proven experience as a Developer within a legal technology environment
- Strong Relativity Administration experience
- Strong Legal IT experience
- Previous experience working within a law firm, legal department, or legal services environment
- Solid understanding of legal workflows, litigation support, and eDiscovery
- Experience administering enterprise applications and managing system configurations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage both technical development work and platform administration
- Experience with Relativity custom development, APIs, or integrations
- Experience with SQL Server and database management
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, PowerShell, Azure, Microsoft 365)
- Experience integrating legal applications with other enterprise systems
- Familiarity with information governance and data security best practices
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities
