Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Damco Solutions is seeking a JDE CNC Administrator to manage the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 environment. The role focuses on system administration, architecture, and maintenance, requiring expertise in IBM iSeries and JDE ERP software applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain JDE 8.12 environments including DV, PY, and PD
- Manage DB2 databases, IBM i user profiles, and subsystem jobs
- Assemble, build, and deploy server and client packages regularly
- Configure OMW rules, tokens, and project promotions through development cycles
- Setup JDE security workbench, row/column security, and user profiles
- Analyze JDE kernels, AS/400 job logs, and print queues to resolve failures
- Optimize iSeries interactive/batch jobs and JDE ini file configurations
- Administer WebSphere Application Servers (WAS) hosting JDE HTML servers
- Coordinate JDE specs, business data, and AS/400 library backups (SAVLIB)
- Defines interdependency with other disciplines and is involved in the testing and certification processes
- Supports, operates and maintains computer systems and software applications
- Interprets, refines and applies methods and procedures in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Technology industry standards and best practices as defined by Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd
- Remains current with industry trends in order to conceive, prototype and recommend technical approaches for IT systems and solutions that meet business needs

Skills
- Deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 architecture
- Proficient with IBM i (OS/400) operating systems and CL commands
- Strong knowledge of DB2 for iSeries, SQL, and data replication tools
- Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server 6.0/6.1
- Expert level with OMW, Change Management, and Server Manager
- Functional knowledge of setting up category codes, supplemental data, address book etc
- Subject matter expertise in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
- Able to formulate, communicate and implement technical solutions
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. May lead or direct the work of others
- Demonstrate a degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes within specific area of responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- May require a Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
- 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
