Mindlance is seeking a Professional Project Manager to support project planning, coordination, execution, and reporting for healthcare clients including TennCare and Medicaid. The role involves managing project workstreams, maintaining visibility of project status, and ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues to deliver quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate assigned project activities, workstreams, deliverables, schedules, and follow-up actions under the direction of a Program Manager, project leader, or PMO leader
- Maintain visibility into project status, open items, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items
- Manage or support team backlogs by documenting work, tracking progress, and helping business stakeholders prioritize outstanding items
- Communicate project status clearly and accurately to internal teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership
- Support the removal of roadblocks by identifying the appropriate contacts, escalating issues timely, and following through to resolution
- Assist with project artifacts such as schedules, status reports, meeting notes, backlog summaries, risk/issue logs, resource tracking, and presentation materials
- Develop working knowledge of the business concepts behind assigned project solutions and contribute as a knowledgeable point of coordination for the team
- Track utilization and availability inputs for assigned team members as project priorities shift

- Ability to track assigned resource utilization and project activity across multiple priorities
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, matrixed project environment
- Working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Project or comparable project scheduling tools
- Understanding of project management principles and standard project delivery practices
- Resourcefulness in identifying the right person, team, or path to resolve project roadblocks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 3–5 years of project coordination, project management, business operations, or comparable delivery experience; healthcare, Medicaid, or Medicare experience preferred
- Some technical background or technical aptitude to support content comprehension and project coordination
- Experience creating professional-quality PowerPoint presentations to communicate project status, issues, risks, recommendations, or decisions
- Experience presenting to business stakeholders, project teams, and project leadership
- Familiarity with budget tracking, project metrics, scope management, risk management, or project management software
