The Giant Bullseye is seeking a seasoned IT Program Manager to lead and oversee complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will align business objectives with program execution, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction across multiple IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale IT programs in the healthcare domain
- Drive program governance, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards
- Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on schedule and within budget
- Monitor program risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams
- Implement best practices in project and program management, while adhering to HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare compliance standards
- Partner with product, engineering, security, and clinical teams to ensure technology solutions meet business and regulatory needs
- Provide executive-level reporting and communicate progress to senior leadership
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 3–5 years managing healthcare-related programs
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise software, infrastructure, or digital transformation programs
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems, such as EHR/EMR, FHIR, HL7, payer-provider platforms, or clinical workflows
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and collaboration platforms
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- Project or program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP)
- Experience with vendor management, RFPs, and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks and IT compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST)
