Confidential company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to operations leadership across multiple manufacturing locations. This role involves developing and executing people strategies, fostering a positive culture, and partnering with leaders on various HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on employee relations, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent development
- Coach managers on performance management, employee development, leadership effectiveness, and difficult workplace conversations
- Lead investigations and resolve complex employee relations matters with professionalism, objectivity, and sound judgment
- Partner with leadership on organizational changes, succession planning, and change management initiatives
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and develop action plans that strengthen culture and retention
- Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend business-focused solutions
- Partner with leaders on compensation planning and maintaining internal equity
- Support onboarding, performance management, and other key HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or other operational environments
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, performance management, and organizational development
- Proven ability to influence leaders and build trusted partnerships across all levels of an organization
- Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting multiple locations is highly preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification is a plus
