Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LarsenBrown Inc. is seeking a Financial Presentation Specialist for 2nd/3rd shift positions. The role involves high-volume workflow and requires expertise in presentation design, with responsibilities including creating and editing various financial materials while communicating with internal clients.
Responsibilities
- Must have previous experience working as a FINANCIAL PRESENTATION SPECIALIST (AKA Presentation Specialist, Desktop Publisher, Graphic Operator/Specialist, Presentation Operator, Desktop Operator) in an Investment Bank IBD center
- Projects are received and returned electronically
- Some shifts use a workflow coordinator, however, all specialists are expected to assume responsibility for communicating with internal clients, proactively seeking solutions to issues that may arise, and handle the department’s workflow for themselves and other team members
- This position requires the use of MS Office suite and Adobe CC suite to create, design, layout, and edit presentations
- Projects involve producing a variety of materials (e.g., pitch books, templates, covers, newsletters, teasers, etc.), graphical depictions of data, maps and illustrations
- The specialist ensures all materials produced meet client standards, communicates directly with banking teams to determine/negotiate deadlines, and confirms job instructions/design requirements
Skills
- Must have previous experience working as a FINANCIAL PRESENTATION SPECIALIST (AKA Presentation Specialist, Desktop Publisher, Graphic Operator/Specialist, Presentation Operator, Desktop Operator) in an Investment Bank IBD center
- Must be available 2nd/3rd shift for this positions
- Has 5+ years previous experience working in a presentation center
- Must be a PowerPoint maven
- Must be an expert in Excel charting (without custom automation)
- Possess a positive customer-service attitude
- Successfully interprets all directives given for a specific project
- Has a sense of urgency commensurate with the volume and speed of the workflow
- Successfully interprets requirements for work requests
- Estimates work request completion time by determining complexity and volume
- Prioritizes work requests based on completion estimates, urgency and company guidelines
- Practices professional phone and email etiquette
- Follow brand guidelines without becoming boring
- Is solid working in and troubleshooting MS Word files
- Is comfortable with basic Excel formulas and functions
- Has familiar with Adobe CC Suite (Acrobat Pro/CC, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Design experience is a huge plus!
- Is aware of MapInfo, OCR software and FactSet
- Design ability and knowledge of Financial Services industry strongly preferred
