The role involves designing evaluation frameworks for AI in finance, conducting original research, and collaborating with teams to enhance AI performance in financial applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve evaluation frameworks for AI agents in financial domains, including benchmark suites and scoring methodologies
- Conduct original research on financial reasoning and decision-making, translating findings into measurable improvements in AI performance
- Develop and curate datasets and benchmark environments that reflect real-world enterprise finance challenges
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to evaluate and improve finance-focused models and agentic systems
- Analyze model behavior and performance trends to generate actionable insights and guide research priorities
- Publish research findings and best practices that enhance understanding of AI capabilities in finance
Skills
- Have an advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field
- Possess deep domain expertise in finance areas such as investment research, capital markets, or risk management
- Have demonstrated experience in conducting rigorous research and developing analytical methodologies in finance
- Have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a proven track record of solving complex problems
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing research reports
- PhD strongly preferred
