Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CGS (Computer Generated Solutions) is a leading provider of technology solutions for the fashion and apparel industries. The EDI Analyst will be responsible for providing EDI support, coordinating EDI activities, and resolving client inquiries related to EDI processes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a team that has over 40+ years, providing technology solutions to clients in the fashion and apparel industries
- Follow-up on inbound client inquiries through efficient and prompt outreach
- Determine resolutions to customers' questions and/or issues
- Document known resolutions to customers FAQs
- Provide information to development teams by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing findings based on customer reported issue to develop resolution where appropriate
- Quick learner of new software functionality to ensure appropriate support is provided
- Maintain frequent communication with client while their issue is being resolved
Skills
- Provide support to clients on EDI to coordinate EDI activities with different trading partners
- Act as liaison between client groups and systems programmers
- Review setup in the ERP system to meet internal and external requirements
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues in ERP modules, shipping, pick/pack ticketing, order processing, invoicing, and accounting
- Deliver and review maps and trading partners setup
- Review and confirm EDI Communication software to send/receive EDI to/from trading partners
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Strong scripting experience – required
- Ability to write scripts for automation, troubleshooting, and support tasks
- Comfortable using scripting to analyze data, logs, and system behavior
- Has a 'can-do' attitude and the energy to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter who is persistent, tenacious, and dedicated to achieving goals and providing solutions
- Excited to learn and further develop technology skills to grow into a project management or tech. role

- 2+ years of business analysis/ system support experience
- Experience with implementation of EDI processes to support business unit EDI initiatives with internal and external customers
- Experience with 850, 810, 856, 832, 855, 852, 846
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented with emphasis on quality and a proven ability and desire to learn/utilize new technologies
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with EDI products
- SQL skills for troubleshooting and data validation

- PowerShell experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience with EDI products (a plus), including TIE Commerce eVision and TIE SmartBridge
- Experience with BlueCherry ERP products (a plus)
