Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Director of Product Management for their Workers’ Compensation Line of Business. The role involves overseeing product compliance, managing filing processes, and ensuring alignment between systems and filed rules.
Responsibilities
- Ensure our product is compliant, accurate, and consistently implemented across systems and the field
- Maintain and monitor a disciplined filing schedule across all states
- Ensure filings are completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate with Canary (our external partner) on filing execution
- Identify opportunities to bring some filing work in-house
- Manage analysts responsible for:
- Filing support
- Ticket creation and tracking
- Testing
- Ensure efficient workflows and accountability across this group
- Confirm that what is implemented in our systems matches what was filed
- Partner with IT/workflow teams to correct any mismatches quickly
- Ensure underwriting practices in the field align with filed rules and guidelines
- Identify and address gaps between intent and execution
- Targeted projects as assigned
- Keeps current with market trends and demands
- Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
Skills
- 5+ years experience in workers compensation related field, with focus on Underwriting/Product Management
- Communication skills are paramount, both written, oral and presentations
- Working knowledge of workers compensation systems
- Project management experience
- Experience working with SQL a plus
