Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking a Director of Data Strategy and Insights to lead the organization's data strategy and analytics capabilities. This role involves transforming data into actionable insights and overseeing advanced analytics initiatives while guiding a talented team of analysts and data scientists to deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities
- Evaluate and implement advanced analytical methods-including AI and ML-to improve forecasting, decision-making, and operational outcomes
- Integrate and govern first-, second-, and third-party data to enhance customer insights and create a competitive advantage
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and innovation
- Translate business questions into analytical projects and clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and maintain an intelligence layer and self-service analytics environment to empower business units across the organization
- Manage cross-functional projects, balancing scope, timelines, and resources to ensure high-quality delivery
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive leadership, IT, and business partners across global functions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field required
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with increasing scope and leadership responsibility
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams and budgets, including remote or matrixed resources
- Proven success leading enterprise-level analytics or insights functions in a complex, global organization
- Strong technical foundation in SQL, Python, and modern data modeling principles
- Expertise with visualization and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and experience developing scalable self-service analytics solutions
- Deep understanding of cloud-native data environments (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and large-scale data integration
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels
- Ability to travel, if needed
