Solovis builds portfolio management and analytics software for institutional investors, and they are seeking a Director of Infrastructure Operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for establishing and owning the infrastructure and IT strategy that supports the company's growth, focusing on cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish the policies, standards, and controls governing how engineering and DevOps teams provision and operate cloud infrastructure across the organization
- Lead the development and execution of Solovis’s security strategy, including compliance certifications, risk management, and the controls required to meet the standards of our institutional client base
- Oversee IT operations including the help desk function, vendor relationships, and budget management, ensuring the internal environment is reliable, well-governed, and aligned to business needs
- Define and maintain the monitoring, incident response, and operational processes required to sustain 99.99% uptime across our hosting environment
- Serve as a senior voice in how AI tooling and platforms are integrated into Solovis’s infrastructure model, with increasing responsibility as the organization’s AI strategy matures
Skills
- 5+ years in IT or infrastructure leadership, including experience at the director or senior manager level
- Experience leading cloud governance or infrastructure policy across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Prior ownership of IT operations including help desk, vendor management, and budget
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Security compliance ownership (SOC 2, ISO, or similar) in a SaaS environment is a strong plus
- M&A integration experience is a strong plus, particularly with software organizations
