They are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support their AWS- and Databricks-based data platform, focusing on automation and secure delivery of data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support and scale our AWS- and Databricks-based data platform
- Focus on infrastructure automation, CI/CD, environment management, and enabling rapid, secure delivery of data pipelines, analytics, and dashboards
Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform automation, or related engineering roles
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of Git workflows and branching strategies
- Experience with Pulumi and/or Terraform for cloud and data platform automation
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, QuickSight, etc.)
- Experience provisioning and managing Databricks resources and automating deployments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of AWS Glue, Redshift, or other data services
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)
