Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tipton Health is looking for a Manager, Data Services, to serve as their internal and client-facing data expert. The role involves partnering with nursing leaders to measure progress against nursing excellence frameworks and translating complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted data advisor to nursing leaders, translating their goals into meaningful, actionable analysis
- Help clients measure and validate progress against Magnet®, Pathway to Excellence®, and other frameworks — including nurse-sensitive quality indicators and RN engagement benchmarked to national databases
- Support workforce analysis (turnover, vacancy, retention, staffing, engagement) that helps leaders act on the pressures defining today’s market
- Transform data into charts, dashboards, and visual stories, and present findings clearly at every level — from the unit to the boardroom
- Build and steward Tipton’s proprietary datasets, benchmarks, and methodology, and productize recurring analyses into scalable, high-quality data offerings
- Apply automation and AI tools to expand capacity, speed turnaround, and improve consistency
- Collaborate across our Business Development, Consulting, and Certification & Validation teams, and support the growth of Data Services team members
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of healthcare experience
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of turning data into executive-ready insight
- Experience presenting to senior leaders
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Survey program experience (design, administration, analysis)
- Comfort applying automation and AI tools to analytics and reporting
- A collaborative, engaging style and a genuine commitment to supporting nursing leaders and their teams
- Master's degree (nursing, health administration, data/analytics, or related field)
- Healthcare data analysis experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Magnet®, Pathway to Excellence®, and nurse-sensitive quality indicators preferred
- Power BI and/or Tableau dashboard development preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Consulting and project-management experience (Wrike or similar) a plus
