Job Description:
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team at Workwarp. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret customer and shipping orders, as well as other source documents, to accurately enter data into our computer systems
- Verify data for accuracy and consistency, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and correctly formatted
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to key data into specific fields, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform administrative duties, including filing, copying, and other tasks, to support the smooth operation of our team
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve data errors or anomalies, and report any issues to supervisors in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent reading comprehension, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and attention to detail, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Reading knowledge of English and Spanish (approximately 5-10% of orders are in Spanish)
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry and/or filing
- Social perceptiveness and service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
