[Remote] Data Engineer with AWS (Remote), Only W2

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Veritis Group Inc is seeking a Data Engineer with AWS. The role requires extensive experience in backend data engineering, proficiency in Java and Spring Batch, as well as strong SQL skills and experience with AWS.

Responsibilities

• 6+ years of experience in backend data engineering
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Batch (JAVA / SPRING BATCH ON THE BACKEND REQUIRED)
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle and/or Snowflake)
• Experience with AWS (Batch, S3, IAM)
• Familiarity with Control-M or similar job schedulers
• Agile development experience
• Python scripting knowledge
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Financial services industry background
• SQL performance tuning expertise
